Hi Wolf Stone,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here, by the way. I'm hungry for comments.

No, I haven't used it myself. Since will kits are reasonably straightforward and inexpensive, I believe this is a good marketing tool for CanadaWill.com use this free feature as a loss leader to advertise their other offerings.

Let me know if you find out more. :)

TSX Group....arghhhh.....I feel for you. This is a tough one.

I'll tell you one thing, not at one point when I saw it tank 12% did I think, that I might get in, even though it will probably turn out to have been a wise move. I just don't understand the business enough to know how much it will hurt them.

Thanks MoneyGardener. Well, we all should be expecting surprises like this in the stock picking business. That's why investors have to diversify.

TSX Group single handedly wiped out all of my capital gains on a good market day. Looking at their 2006 annual report, $146 millions of the $352 millions revenue came from the “Trading and related” category. This part of the revenue will be impacted. By how much? I don’t know, but I’ll continue to hold since the bad news is already priced in to the stock, and there’s a good chance that the new alternative trading system will not gain traction.

Hi djstef,

That's a tough question. Since my blog isn't very big (yet), you might not get too many responses. If we're talking about a large sum of money, it's probably prudent to hire an independent fee-based financial advisor. Another option is to post your question on www.financialwebring.com/forum, where you'll find a lot of experienced DIY financial folks.

Good luck,
FinancialJungleGuy
